She's been reported to H.R. by several people. Leads by fear & intimidation, verbally abusive to her employees and continues to be in a DSM role! How many complaints does HR have to get before they take action? She's not so sweet, T.S.., DSM, West Coast!

Yes, Sophia. Let’s hope they do something about it. If not, you may leave now. Buh bye.

Happens on the east coast as well. It’s a new class they give in dsm training...how to harass your employees within company guidelines with the support of HR.

I agree! Hopefully, "at will", employees will eventually have more opportunity to report these offfenders! These individuals exist way too often & make the work environment hostile!

It's past time for the #metoo movement to rise at AZ! It should have started here!!

You are wasting your breath. How do you think these people got promoted to DM? AZ has had a culture for a long time that rewards those that as AZ leadership says, "Can make the tough decisions." Translation is that they have to fire a few people to show how tough they are. AZ rewards turnover not development. They never ask how many people a leader has developed. They only ask, how many have they put on PIPs or terminated?

What I have experienced, is friends hiring friends. Therefore, you do not always get the most qualified candidate, in these positions. Let's face it, its all about who you know! Sounds a bit like the Trump administration. Out with the old and in with his trusted circle. Who can blame them, stakes are high for failure!

Trump? Holy crap, Obama was famous for hiring no-nothing's into his admin. Trump went after business people. Obama's admin had 3% of his cabinet w/ business experience, 97% were from gov't or academia. And lets remember, every new administration brings in their own people. One of the bene's of winning an election.

Hey, let’s get back to the original post. This is about Tara Sweet and her dictator style of management. Should we just let her be and allow her reps to suffer?

The first rule of any business is to never hire a college professor if you want something to be accomplished.
They will investigate, study, form committees to study the studies, and in the end nothing but talk, talk, talk.

Abusive managers need to be exposed one by one. This forum will expose them. Let's keep the momentum going.

    You are DELUSIONAL.

Really? I thought Tara was an effective, kind and caring DSM. At managers’ meetings, she portrays herself as a giver.

So does mine and she won a leadership award this year!! They reward abusive behavior so get over it or leave cause it is NOT going to change.

Best post ever. This sums up the AZ culture perfectly in one simple paragraph.

Big time bully. Firing and writing up pss’s isn’t going to improve her miserable performance. She’s the one that should be fired along with a couple of her dsm’s that do her bidding.

Yeah, even business experts think fear is a shitty way of managing people. Check it out:
