So my woman loves movies and every year at this time we make it a point to see as many of the Top 10 contenders as possible before the awards. For the rest of the year, it's pretty much porn. Anyway, here's the Top 10 c0ontenders for this year with comments on the 2 we've seen so far. Please join in? 1. La La Land 2. Manchester by the Sea 3. Moonlight 4. Jackie 5. Fences 6. Silence 7. Lion 8. Arrival - I gave it a 3 (barely) she gave it a 4. Time worn theme of alien landing, we almost attack but someone figures out their language and the earth is saved, duhhh ! 9. Sully - Much better, moved fast, hmmm, 3.8 or 3.9? Not too deep but never got bored. 10. Loving

Me too mostly but I have a woman who loves movies and sometimes we get naughty in the back row. This is one of my concessions and sometimes I even see a movie I like. We probably see one movie all year and then 'bingo'. Didn't hear about Clooney divorce, didn't find her attractive anyway. I did like that movie he did last year about the Nazi Art thefts which had his father in it at the end. Otherwise - meh! So you never take/took your wife to a movie?
