    At the suggestion of someone from the Poli Board, I'm starting this thread. Our resident, strict Christian moralist there (who is banned here) keeps on blabbing about how we need strong Christian values to strictly control sexual desires. I say it's harmless and within contemporary moral standards for adults to enjoy nudity together whether swimming or even some fooling around as long as there is mutual consent. The suggestion was made that I start a thread here. So here we go, any comments? Or is this place really dead?

    I am guessing it is dead, as are all my old posts. Very sad, I came back here just to read them. I desired to relive that hot tub scene.

    Good to hear from you, your posts were the best. We all had such a good time and I made some friendships that have lasted since then. I do miss that hot tubbing. There were also some very hot group massage ideas.

    I never laughed so hard as some of the chat nights. People would leave to mix a drink, we'd go in private rooms and trade phone numbers. Good fun.     I totally agree with you. As long as adults are consenting, what's the big deal? I am tired of people trying to inflict their morals on others and that goes for smoking pot too. I would think that the poster you are referring to is probably MFAS.

    This new show has a more millennial driven appeal. This generation has more casual sex with fewer partners compared to previous generations. Friends with benefits does not always mean satisfying and intimate sex. It also can appeal to the older career driven woman who finds herself without a partner and needs the release. The focus on pleasure is different, in a meditative format. Guys don't usually take the time to connect in that way in a casual sex frame. Long term relationships that have gone stale would be another draw. Both people would have to know the technique. The person doing can be anyone based on simply the mechanics. The woman receiving can have the experience of total focus on her pleasure center and connect instantly with predictable physiological and response. This is an interesting and apparently lucrative business and seems to have a lot of takers. It seems pretty contrived but hell, who am I to judge. I've tried crazier things. I have a friend who has tried this because, well, she'd try anything. She hasn't had a good sex partner in a while and for her it was a fun and sexy experience because she could focus on her pleasure with a person dedicated solely to her pleasure. She said that the hardest part for her was stopping in the set time frame and she's still looking for that long term relationship.

    You nailed it perfectly. We went to an 'intro' discussion (no live demos, no physical contact) group last night just to see what it was about. The line from Eleanor Rigby, 'All the lonely people' came to mind. With that said, who is to judge? The women get the release so many haven't experience in so long (or, in some cases ever) and it's 'safe sex'. The men get to touch a woman 'there' which is more than many seem to get in real life and who knows what they do when they get home and think about it? Probably a 15 minute hand job so everyone wins in the sexual release department. The long term relationship aspect? This is a substitute until or unless that comes along. For us, we just plan to employ the mechanical technique in our own relationship and see how it goes. And there won't be any 15 minute time limit either. :cool:

    I've been hanging out for quite a while waiting for some fun topics to come back. It used to be so lively in the day. I post on the poli board once in a while but so much stupidity and hostility there. That kind of blogging doesn't make sense to me when anon posters can assume multiple personalities just to create a stir. I think the climate would change quite a bit if everyone were required to have a proper avatar like on PG. Poli has become a venting venue for suppressed and angry people and will probably get shut down at some point again. Is name calling really necessary? I'd much prefer to exchange interesting and thought provoking comments and enjoy presently and miss some of the RPs of the past. I know you have been around for a while and your Vagitarian personality and always trust that you will come up with good shit.

    Sure DD, anyone can 'do themselves' man or woman but the point of this (as I see it) is it's appeal to who BOTB called the career woman who may not be in a relationship and wants some human genital contact at the hands of another person. It's safe (as there is no penetration - at least at an OMing session) both physical healthwise and mentally as there is, ostensibly, no intimacy at the time - although who knows what might develop between the 'stroker' and the 'strokee'. What we found strangest in the description is that it's a timed, 15 minute stroking session with no end result in mind other than stroking a specific area of the clitoris slowly in a certain way. Supposedly the optimal spot is near a nerve bundle which can bring surprise releases of warm sensations that bring the strokee awareness and pleasure in a different way than an orgasm. I admit, some of it sounds airy fairy. My woman loves her orgasms. However, unexpectedly, later in life, I find myself in a very sexual relationship and we're enjoying our journey of listening to and watching new ideas all the way from considering trying this once to fireplay to other sexy ideas with a 3rd woman. We haven't done a couple swap, probably never will but we've talked about it and almost every sexual scenario imaginable. This in itself is a type of foreplay.

    The above reasons are exactly why I am staying away from the Poli Board also. Vag and Libs make good points only to get attacked by a bunch of trolls. If everyone had to be an RP, it would be a much better forum for comments. From what I have seen on the Poli Board it seems like MFAS is back posting 'anon' and not I'm sure about BB or any others.
