They all went to the best b schools in the country and put together the entire financial analysis for every deal: valuation, P&L impact, the excel part could be taught to your monkey ass yes. Although 99% of the people I've seen at Amgen suck ass in excel, can't do shit without the mouse, don't know any shortcuts or advanced formulas, don't know how to build a good model, and yet think they're advanced excel users. It's a joke. Combine that with advanced knowledge of finance and accounting. Please interview for TAG so they can laugh at you.

Pepperdine MBAs at Amgen are better than the Wharton, Kellogg, HBS, etc Alums that come from the rotational programs. Those at Amgen who work and study are more impressive than the rich kids who got banking jobs.

 

All Ivy League grads at Amgen are useless. What great decision did Sean Harper make? None!

The fact that you imply people at Pepperdine aren't rich kids (there's tons of stupid rich kids there) and work and study harder than people from top business schools is a joke. You've obviously never seen the caliber of students that go to Wharton and how hard they work. Or any other top program for that matter. And to imply they're all rich is a joke because the rich donors allow for a huge financial aid budget to fund many less privileged students. You're a fool. Might want to do some fact checking. There's a reason Pepperdine has contacted me to offer a automatic admit to their MBA program without even having to take the GMAT because of my background.

 

UCLA is a good school but your statement is a joke. Wharton and HBS are the two best in the country for finance. And if we're talking undergrad it's Wharton bar none. There's a reason companies flock to those schools. Stanford as well. If you haven't been at those universities and seen the level of competition and caliber of the students you have no business even making a statement about it. There's a reason the acceptance rates are so incredibly low.
