Let’s face it...this is one big lie each and every day. Trying to justify my job daily. It’s a Joke.

The last three years and seeing doors shutting out all reps, the lying and "bad practices" started creeping in more and more. For me the job became irritating, depressing, lonely and frustrating. Financially sound I opted to retire. I am thankful to have that opportunity. I feel you OP.

This is a great conniving gig. Getting paid a huge salary to work about 5-10 hours per week. It is fraudulent!!!

Man! We have finally got an ALL DAY LIE thread for BI ! AZ had the original ADL thread and still does. I have been an ardent supporter of the ALL DAY LIE for many years. I have mastered it well. Now that we have our own, feel free to post some of your ALL DAY LIE experiences!

This is how it starts and then is perpetuated through the organization.

It starts out as the rep trying their best to meet their metrics. It sometime is hit and sometime missed. Managers start getting reports and are coached and questioned to why their people are not meeting goal. (Who cares we all know we get 3-6 doctors pushed down to us that we cannot get out of our plan) The manager starts sending out the reports. You notice you are at 99% but your partner is at 130%. Your partner is getting props for their metrics and you are getting coached. Your last company spot checked the accuracy and reps were fired for falsification so you practiced 98% accuracy of calls. You call your partner and they tell you they are seeing these people, so you do a little digging and you find your partner is making calls on docs that have moved to another state and have even died. You tell your partner because you like him. Then you notice they have calls on drs that are on vacation and you think gosh this guy is crazy...he is going to get fired but no he gets promoted. So at this point you have 2 choices...get on or get off this crazy train. I still think he is crazy to be such an outlier but he is one of the chosen people. I don’t think I have ever seen as much call fraud as this company. Go BI

I think we all can relate to this scenario. Big ass clinic, in your biggest zip code, housing a crazy # of specialists and you can not see one of them behind the iron clad curtain. You know the receptionist like a psychiatrist and get a wink and a nod from the harried NP who whistles by to sign for samples BEHIND the receptionist stand. You say HI Betsy I have great information about XYZ and she say not today and turns away.

You put in 5 of the doctors/NP's you left literature for in your call plan..NEXT!!!

Sounds like my partner. If you call him after lunch he was at the gym. He never worked in the afternoon.

You know what the metrics are. Quit bitching and just do what is needed. Can you find an easier job,

make 10 calls on docs and go home. Cash your salary, quarterly IC bonus and go tool around in your free fleet vehicle.

company tells you what to say, who to see and how often to see them. What more do you need.

Yelp. Now I make 10 calls before nine and never leave my house. Then drive the wheels off my free car, go to the gym, Starbucks with my friends, head home and enter a Veeva engage so I can check that box, babysit my grandchild for a few hours, walk dog, too bad my lawn doesn’t need mowed this time a year, call boss and complain that all my counties are shut down and share some imaginary success story (so I look engaged and working), take a short vacation, send a few Veeva emails from the parking lot of the bar and finally join friends for happy hour, but I didn’t get covid from my offices Oh and I forgot work my side gig as a shopper. I am not bitching here!

Been doing the All Day Lie for Years!!! My territory is in MN and I am suppose to be calling on a prestigious IDN. Well folks it’s been closed to our industry for years. Yes, I’ve been feeding the iPad for years.

How do you feed it? All at one time or in small meals?

I need to improve my “results”
