I am considering Amtox and another competitor. How big is the industry? Can it sustain the growth?

    Thanks!!

It,s amazing how some reps who still lie for ameritox are so angry at those are shedding some light on the issues there. Sometimes the truth can hurt. I was greatful I had the chance to get away from Ameritox. That company is a shadow of it's former self. Management has run this once fine company into the shitter. I can image some of the remaining reps are angry at the current situation and don't know what to do there anymore. They just dropped the reps quotas by huge amounts and most still can't hit their numbers. Their time in the sun is over. They helped create this market and now find themselves unable to compete in it anymore. Their lies and unethical tactics have finally caught up with them. Most of the reps who have left Ameritox left voluntarily. Ask yourself why.

Just like the RXGuardian and the "we'll have a cup for reimbursement soon" lies?

Does anyone have any idea of how many vacant territories we have and how many good quality sales / FORs pulled pitch recently? It seems like 3-4 each month, but I can't seem to put a number on it.

I'm currently a rep at Quest. I have a FTF with them on Tuesday. Is the average req really $245? Do all insurance companies reimburse? What is that reimbursement that insurance companies pay?

Is the goal set on number of reqs or dollar amount? What is the goal?

    Thanks!!

    Joe

    Hey Joe,

I think most reps in my district make about 225 a year. There are probably a few that make more but I think that is a fair range. I've doubled my territories specimen pull and I consistently make 14K a month in bonus.

Hope it helps. I look forward to working with you.

If you are working for Atox and claiming that then you are full of crap. The managemet doesn't even make that because their teams can't even hit their numbers. I call B.S.!

Do most insurance companies reimburse or deny?
I have been told that the average is $245 per req reimbursement. Is that true? Sounds like a healthy req. How many tests per day does the avg pain med doc order?

    Thanks again!!

could you lie anymore? 225 a year? i work for Atox and know for a fact you don't make 225 a year. Do you have a bridge to sell too?

The issue is not is reimbursed it's how much is balanced billed to the patient and the $1200 bills. Oh yeah, no rep has ever made 225. 3 years ago when I came on board with Atox the comp plan was set up to make that much if you were bringing in the volume. That comp plan ended 2 years ago and it does not incetavise volumes. the top rep in volume will make the same as some schmuck with with hardly any volume. Ask Alun Malone. And Atox wonders why all the top reps are leaving or left already. I am very happy I left. Huge bills, balance billing, invalid technology, and incompetent management equals a crappy place to work.

Does anybody have any input on the competetion such as Dominion, Calaway or even LabCorp or Quest?
How do they compare in the marketplace, how is the quality, etc.?

Quest is a good place as long as the area is set up be successful. It becomes difficult when they lose insurance plans. It is not impossible, but it makes it more difficult.

Anybody know how many reqs/month the average pain medicine specialist orders????

Since the 1st of the year how many territories have been open? How many new reps have there been? Does anyone have have any good experiences with managers.

This isnt a fair question or quick snapshot
We have grown over 300% in the last 2 years. Territories are typically split when volume grows to a point that it doesn't makes sense to have just 2 reps work a certain geographic area. So when you see "openings", 9 times out of 10 it is b/c a team was split.
I agree, this company has a whole lot of problems that typically start at the top! But, when you are in a start-up environment this is not unusual.
The comp plan, recent car allowance change, Investigations, goal increases that feed the cash cow, aggressive DM and RM's, etc....

This is better than pharma but don't fool yourselves, this is not "medical sales"

My recruiter mentioned a $900.00 car allowance. Is that the new change? That is a good chunk of change for a car allowance. Sounds pretty good to me.
