I quit right after the layoffs. Got a good job, it's more responsibility, more money. Kind of like a promotion to leave. Don't miss the oppressive atmosphere. I'm not the first to leave and I won't be the last. The real killer is that the rate of turnover is up and will keep going up. I sold all my stock before I left and reinvested in companies that are going to grow and thrive. Amgen is is going to shrivel up and die on top a giant pile of unspent cash.

 

Amgen seeks quality. The turnover is from throwing out the trash.

This is exactly the kind of culture we have at Amgen. Proof reading a Cafe Pharma website when spelling doesn't even matter. Soooooo pathetic!!!! Same thing goes on at the big "A." People there will try to make something out of nothing to make themselves look better. The higher their incompetence, the more they will try to call you out. Such a pathetic and over-rated company.
