The North American GM Anne Sigouin shows disturbing behaviors. She can’t be challenged in whatever she said. If you provide her with feedback, she will deny anything she doesn’t want to hear. Her lack of confidence is such that she will, like a child, ignore you. Once she has isolated you, she would ensure you get no support even if this is detrimental to the business. At the end, it is about her only, not about the business.

Why the repeat above, can't you make your point once!
She ain't that bad, it is about managing her disproportionate ego. But she is great managing up. No one seems to know what is really going on. Ask Anne 3 simple questions.... and seek she will struggle answering:
What customer centric actions she took since at Arjohuntleigh?
    What's her vision?
    How does she motivate people?

You got it right, for Anne, success is a team outcome, a failure is a representative to blame.

It happens a lot. She will approve better pricing if she likes you. I lost a deal 2 months ago as she refused to lower price. I found out she was more flexible with another rep.
If she doesn’t like you she will damage your business...sad but true

Don't worry she won't last long. With the current trend in North America, she will have to face realty pretty soon.

As the official split come closer, the Arjo remains will be picked apart.

Larger organisations will pick up product lines here and there. Expect some patient handling assets to go to some of the larger players. Beds and DVT will be left to continue to die.

Companies only merge or divest for one reason and one reason only, value. It was clear that there was no value keeping One Getinge forward, so they decided to split the businesses. There is no value for a standalone Arjo. Any upside on patient handling will be more than depleted by the failure of beds and DVT.

Good point, it will go down to innovation. DVT is a dying business, beds will make marginal market share outside of UK and may be Australia. Disinfection will remain a marginal business while rental of surfaces will pursue it’s decline. Capital surfaces will pursue price erosion due to highly price competitive Asian products. Hygiene is also under price pressure and will hold market share in Arjo historical strong market ( Europe, Canada). Hygiene went no where in USA as Arjo was a late entrant. Patient handling could have mixed results but high grow area, ceiling lift, remain questionable. USA lost market share while margins shrinking elsewhere.

The key question reside on how shareholders will react. As Carl Bennett got close to 50% of the pie, this may bring stability on short term. The stock price hold on for the time being. Not clear how minority holders will react later on.

Arjo strategy to cut on expenses ( I.e rep income, cutting staff, outsourcing production to low costs countries, centralizing logistics) and screw customers on price of parts and repair is coming to an end. There is so much you can do to skim a cat. No they have to come back to what made them successful which is innovation & true leaders with a business mind.

Mrs. Sigouin lost trust from her base. She is isolated with her few double face brown noses. She prioritized herself too much and lost her credibility. She can’t be part of the solution but rather and explanation of why Arjo is aiming in the wrong direction. For the salesforce the only solution is to simply say nothing and let her drown.

so true, by thinking of her only and managing up, she forgot the importance of having a team . She is alone with few puppets. The show is going no where. Time to go home Anne, no one want you anymore.

Sigouin managed by fear and everyone shut up and keep their head down. No one will raise issues she doesn't want to hear. If you don't say what she wants you will be in trouble. This is why she knows so little about what is really going on. The disconnect between the stories she gets and the reality is so huge. Please Anne, do the right thing, resign.
