4 to 5 reps to sell vraylar? This is not a primary care drug! You may a couple of scripts out a internist but that’s it !! People forget that the Allergan pulled reps off Vraylar a year and half ago. Pysch’s write this drug and only need to see 2 reps. Outdated business models get reps laid off!
It makes me so frustrated hearing adding another Vraylar rep to call on primary care. We’ve been selling in this space for a long enough time to realize most pcp won’t touch an antipsychotic. Those that have written usually admit they are just refilling med started by a psych. So insane that company thinks the solution is adding another rep there. Antipsychotics have been out for decades yet no other sales force has sold in this space. Why is that management?????
So what are the territories looking like then? No more GI or CNS primary care focused reps? Everyone selling Vraylar and whatever else is in their bag or what? Haven’t been updated yet. Doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy about the future ....
What the hell are they thinking? Prior comments hit it on point that this model is outdated, overstaffed and will NOT result in significantly more Vraylar prescriptions. Jesus Christ this is dumb. I like Bill M. but he needs to get in the car with a rep and see what the reaction is like from PC doctors. Probably the most out of touch move made in quite some time.
