Someone needs to look at hiring patterns and practices in shared services. We are firing doers and hiring management after management. Shared services is completely disconnected from business with overhead going through roof and services down the tube. Compare this organization to any BU IT and you will see what a mess it is not to mention incompetent people in roles barring few. This organization is prime to crumble under its own weight.
Being one from ITS I agree and disagree with you. I totally agree we are top heavy with management (all the way to the top) that really do not care about the business. There are plenty of "workers" who want to do the right thing and try, but get stymied from above. Stop killing the workers and start killing the management.
Some really smart people at ITS. Issue is leadership across GTS and especially AS is clueless and frankly more often than not worthless. How many VP/D2/D1 we need to get stuff done.
