anyone hear news on retail sales division today?

 

Unfortunately - yes

 

Many Nutrition reps laid off today in Acute Care, Pediatric Specialty. HME division decimated. Most were 50+ years old.

 

Wish one? Initials?

 

Whatever happened to AHC she's in retail?

 

What about Onc/HC specialists?

Reps that were spared restructuring yesterday got bad news today. Territories that were manageable and close to home are now doubled, tripled in size. Most include multiple states now. Typical of what's going on in many sales organizations. Fewer workers with ever expanding territories, more work, greater expectations. Acute care & Onc reps affected.

 

Wow... Jumping ship anyone? Sounds like a real traveling salesmen job! Pass!

 

How come we didn't hear anything from our company about this. We have our Presidents awards next week. I guess we will just ignore what has just happened. Lost a few good friends. At least they received a severance package. Good luck to all

There is an Adult Nutrition Position advertised in KY. Are there layoffs? Why is it open? Any idea on pay? I am interested but do not want to quit a job to get into a bad situation.

It is a newly created position that will have large geography and specific call points. The goals will be unrealistic and likely unattainable. So, after a year's experiment and failure management will completely change your role or dump the salesforce as they have done before.

Some managers will be good, others will micromanage you to death.

If you have a good job with security now stay with it.
