Talk about a walk down memory lane. I was one of 4 reps (Rod, Gordon, Dick) when I came to work for Dooner in 1971...yes I have the pewter plate. Back then both Gene and George were also selling along with their other corporate roles. After working in western Mass. I took Dick Marden's place in the D.C. area before moving to ATL in 1976 as a sales rep/manager. Left Dooner in 1978 and worked in the medical device business with Medtronic in Sarasota, FL for 32 years before retiring. Currently working for Boston Scientific as a field clinical adviser in Florida. I had stayed in touch with Gene Dooner over the years, since he had relocated to Naples,FL. Sadly, Gene passed away June 2010 at age of 86. My best to all Dooner alums.

I worked for Dooner in No California starting Jan 1978. Tom Evangelisti was a great manager who believed in the Dooner ideal of work hard and play hard! Great first job. I stayed with Rorer for 10 years before all the merger stuff made things intolerable...
