Any guesses on when layoffs will happen?

I had a field ride yesterday and my DM confirmed no lay offs!

 

Oh wow, we can all sleep better now knowing that a DM spewed what they were told to if asked about layoffs!

 

Asking your DM is a waste of time. ZS carves out the new structure, hands it to Abbvie, and your DM finds out just a little bit before you do. DM's have no input in the process nowadays.

this is one. your DM has ZERO input to an action. RD as well. They know 24 hrs in advance of the action.

The Allergan employees who insist they’re getting the 52 weeks must not have read the fine print. The above is from the “legal document” they bragged about and claim to have. First, This isn’t a legal document/contract. Second, it’s not in transaction agreement and Third it was rescinded before merger.

 

Sounds like some AbbVie reps are a little nervous and jealous that they will get laid off without the same 52 weeks severance as the Allergan. Rescinded. Ha ha ha ha ha ok several HUNDRED Allergan reps must’ve just missed that minor detail. Why do you think so many went through with the merger? Bc for two years you literally have nothing to lose; regardless.

 

Why would Abbvie keep incompetent Allergan reps who’s lack of attention to detail is evident based of the above ? Word is 12-16 weeks severance and 35% headcount cut on first round of cuts.

 

That is what Allergan is built on. Plus we get paid 1/2 to 1/3 of what Abbvie reps make promoting multiple products. So attention to detail can be overlooked to make share holders happy.
