Heard through the grapevine that pockets in Supply Chain received very bad scores, especially for diversity/inclusion and development/career advancement - sounds like some people are grinding their axes and taking revenge on people managers.
Could a major un-credo action like a massive layoff or divestiture announcement be coming up soon? That's the only reason I could think of to cancel Credo Day for 2019.
Why did you think the majority who were let go were 45 and up? To make room for new class of the credo believers.
Also to reduce pension costs, and avoid having employees hit the age of 55 and qualify for retiree healthcare.
