they cant figure out the numbers because the game keeps evolving with specialty pharmacies---it is very profitable so more and more SP keep popping up--and big ones keep merging--Serono wont pay to keep up with all the changes and new players. Remember---what ever leaves the Serono warehouse counts as sales to Serono---they know the bottom line--and that is all that matters to them. The data they buy is to pay out their sales reps--and to make marketing decisions on who is prescribing. But at the end of the day, sorry Charlie, Serono doesn't care about getting the accuracy correct. Add on the fact that we know the SP report based on projections, not raw numbers. That is where Accredo got caught with the BS reporting. Why do you think you get paid on 3 buckets instead of just quota? Because they know how inaccurate all of this is. Add on that that corporate bonuses are based on OP--so those people dont have to worry about SP accuracy. This is a crap show--it is unmotivating.
