From what I've heard, you heard correct.

Lets look at the year in review: FBI investigation, Medicare and Medical suspension, loss of POC's, loss of Resmed, commission cut, and now loss of 401k match. Anyone want to take bets on what we lose next?

Your virginity is exactly what you will lose if you stay at PPS. Farmer and Kane will shove it to you, no kiss, no KY, no nothing!

What happened with Resmed? Was the company unable to pay its bills?

PPS felt that Resmed masks were too expensive and decided not to carry them. Our sleep labs and pulmonologists really love this, lol. At least we can provide our patients with POC's. Wait, scratch that.

PPS is in it's final death throes. Kane, Farmer and the rest of the arrogant bunch will ride it out until the end and get all of their $$. What started out as a great company all about patient care is now the bane of the DME world. Doctors don't want to use PPS unless they have to. It's a sad end for a great company but make no mistake....they ARE going down.

It makes one wonder why Chally assessment tests provided the basis for such fine hiring. The company invested so much in their wonderful tool but it wasn't enough to save them.

Myself and many others at corporate wish this company was in its "death throes" unfortunately this dinosaur will continue to bleed Teijin until Teijin finally decides PPS is no longer worth the tax write-off, and who knows how long that will take. At this point PPS no longer even pretends that they will ever make a profit despite Kane's truly inspirational speeches about links in the corporate chain and rocks at low-tide. The writer of the previous post is correct about one thing though; Kane, Farmer, Winters and the rest of the Mickey Mouse club are the most arrogant group of management failures ever to have window-lined private offices. The only thing they seem to do is keep their office doors closed and bombard the rank-and-file with news of cutbacks, layoffs, commission reductions, management departures, and every type of expense reduction imaginable. I am starting to wonder if we will continue to get Peete's coffee since that seems to be the only perk left. How long until we sell the office refrigerator? How long until we are expected to start supplying our own pens and paper?

At corporate we live in constant fear of being escorted out of the building some Friday in the late morning for no other reason then because a senior manager needs to make his numbers to ensure his quarterly bonus.

It is sad that all the management talent hired by Peter Kelly has been drummed out by Kane, or maybe they just realized the ship was sinking and the captain was a narcissistic fool so they moved on to better things.

Anyway, maybe some morning in the next few years we will show up and find the doors locked, but like I stated, that won't happen until Teijin even notices that we exist and that our business model is an absolete failure.

Yep, until the Japanese realize that the $150 million they paid for PPS and the $34 million they paid Don White was their biggest mistake since Pearl Harbor, and stop throwing good money after bad, PPS can continue to flounder along for years because does not need to make a profit. So please, stop posting that the demise is at hand, because it is not.

Kane is way too busy combing his hair to read these posts, let alone contribute.

And there goes AHS as we knew it....the employees are jumping ship just like on the Titantic as Apnea Care acquires their " list" of RT's and techs....R.I.P. AHS!!

Insightful. This has a ring of truth. So, we can either hang on (and prepare ourselves to eventually be living off unemployment) or find a company values talent and maybe even has a matching 401k.

That is about right, you have two options; be laid off on a whim to make numbers - which may happen at anytime, or be laid off with everyone else when Teijin finally realizes they were conned and shuts the entire operation down-which will not happen anytime soon (they work on 20-year plans).
