It looks like some candidates did not pass the background check or RM's IV?

Amgen is a good company; however, they seem extremely arrogant with the biotech bs. The targets are the same physicians I call on as a lowly pharma rep. The low decile docs have some the the biggest practices in the territory but the mighty biotech reps haven't been able to get prolia prescribed/bought. I was actually a little disappointed. The DM and RM (can understand) seemed to have little knowledge of the territory and did not know/have access to many of the Key PCP's, KOL's and Specialists. Also, I've never gone as far as RM interview without knowing base salary. Some red flags in my opinion. I went on the RM/HR interview and would like to get the offer but not certain I'll accept. The RM seemed like a douchebag. Very little sales experience and has been in management for 15 years. Could tell he hasn't been out in the field in a long time. Good luck everyone!

Sounds like you had your IV in the northeast. I had a very similar experience.

    Yes interview was in northeast.

No salary range was discussed they just kept riddling about it. Even if 60-90 was disclosed that's a pretty big range. When a company sends you to RM the salary should be more firm. Maybe a little negotiating but that's still a pretty big range. Like I said I wish eeryone the best of luck but I was not impressed. Just my opinion.

I had mine in the northeast too, but I thought the rm was very nice and would love he to work for him. He told me he had 15 years too, but he seemed to have a gold idea of what it takes in the field to succeed. And he was spot on from what I've seen having been a rep for many years myself

Ok....so are all the RM interviews now over? I was told at my DM interview that offers will be made next week; week of Aug 6th. Basically what I'm asking is if you haven't been sent an invite to interview with RM at this point, are you chopped liver?

Had my rm interview early this week and they made it seem like we would hear yes or no by the end of this week. Doesn't seem like many offers are out yet though

Yes, RM interviews took place early this week. Top 2 for each spot was sent. I still haven't heard back and HR guy said it could take a week or so. Figuring to hear something next week.

It had better be closer to $90k if you are going to have to try to sell a buy and bill osteoporosis drug to IM docs. Like they want to deal with that. good luck

My district has over 110 buy and bill accounts and 22 of them are in my territory - all but seven are IM.

It's not that hard of a sell, if you know what you are doing.

Just got the passed up email. I have a tremendous amount of family relationships in the territory and will completely shut out the rep who was accepted. I feel bad but Amgen can suck my cock.
