Are You Glad That Tomorrow Is the End To Fiscal 2018?

  1. What is the state of affairs at your branch?

How many CERECs have been sold in your branch this past year? More or less than last year?

How many SIRONA 3D machines? More or less than last year?

Have you gained new merchandise accounts?

Is your branch up in merchandise or overall sales?

Are you able to process as many orders in the same amount of time on SAP as you did in eMagine?

Does your branch have more or fewer reps employed than a year ago?

How many people at your branch are being paid to stay at PDCO and not go to the competition?

How many "new" rookie reps are still not on a Comp Plan? (carrying their own weight)

Do you experience an incredibly insane number of back-orders? (like more than ever?)

Those are just a few of the questions I ask myself as I finish another year.

It will certainly be one exciting Incentive Trip this Summer...
"And Congratulations to Branch of the Year..... -
Your Sales were only down ***% compared to last year!"

What actually will we be celebrating?

BUT JUST THINK...it all gets better on Monday because its FY 2019...it's a new year! - Everything will magically change on Monday, and the hype will begin to get louder and louder as we march to Vegas in June for the biggest pep rally ever!
The Best Is Yet To Come! (I Hope!)

I guess you have two choices...believe or leave. I’ve thought about both - but plan to believe.

SAP is a terrible program that has hurt us tremendously. I have to believe somebody new in Miinny will fix that... and quickly.

I’ll march to Vegas with an open mind and make decisions there.

Good luck and happy new year!

Yes...believe or leave.....I chose to leave about 7 months ago. I saved my ESOP and other Patterson stock before it took a 50% hit. I went to a competitor and must say I am very happy and the gossip on the street from customers about Patterson is not good. You "believers" are going to have a difficult time to get credibility and stock price back unless a big corp buys Patterson....then you might get it back. Good luck "believer" and I hope things work out for you. BTW....is that quote above from Misiak aka Pumpkin Head? His words were the same...."some are believers an some are not!" Good luck!

I came onboard about 18 months ago and while I was skeptical at first, that’s exactly what I heard him say in my initial travels. I now have very little optimism left and will be leaving this summer. I agree Patterson needs to be sold if it has any chance at all. I can’t wait until then.

There are many criticisms to discuss when this much change is afoot. If you already left and are so happy, why do you continue to come on this message board and spread hate. Thank you for you time here, sorry you didn’t have the ability to adapt & change, good luck with your new employer, and it will feel good to win/retain the customers you used to call on. Bye Felicia.

HA HA....I am not Felicia (whoever that is).....
I didn't think I was spreading hate. I was just commenting about how to be a believer or not. As far as adapting to change....how you doin'? How are the back orders, how is SAP, how is management treating you? More importantly....how is your ESOP and other PDCO stock (if you still have any shares).
Don't you realize the clowns in charge don't give a shit about you? Its a boys club and Rogan, Misiak, Gugino (who is gone) are the idiots who put PDCO in this position. How many employees have lost 50% of their retirement? Will they ever be able to recover? I am being real here pal......how you doin'?

Your obviously a believer....But I'm not a Monkee nor an idealist. Read the last sentence below, Smokey. Smh, I'm here because there isn't a lot of opportunity elsewhere, quit sniffing the glue and realize what was once the best gig in dental is over.

"Patterson Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ:pDCO) closed up +0.38 points or 1.63% at $23.76 with 1.14 mln shares exchanging hands. Current price level places the company’s stock about -50.8% from the 52-week high and 12.66% away from the 52-week low. Sell-side analyst recommendations point to a short term price target of $26.5 on the company shares. The consensus rating is 3.1, suggesting the market has given up on the stock."

Lemme guess you do 3-4mm a year lick your GM's ass and get accounts when others leave for better opportunities thus never having to work for it. Your a lifer, your ESOP also looks like Joe Pesci at the end of Casino... If your so supremely happy, good for you and better for those seeking other opportunities as they won't have to deal with your boot licker ass at their new gig and it means when the walls finally come crashing in you'll be the last one out, after they bring in the cadaver dogs to find your dumb shill ass. Good luck with that.

I will not make excuses for the corporate boys. A day will soon come when they cannot simply suck up to the new boss. One day Walchirk will notice the patterns & realize the current state of affairs was created by the current leaders- delayed launches, bad system design, blame/scape goating of others, etc.

As for the haters on here, many great people still work at Patterson. This ship will be righted & conditions are improving. Those whom were asked to leave or whom left on their own continue to frequent this board & fill it with crap. The village idiot can tell you about all of the problems. Those whom are here are helping lead us out.

Marky Mark has been there long enough to see the devastation wrought by those turds. Either he doesn't care, doesn't have the balls or doesn't have the authority to right the ship and fire those dunces or is just plain ignorant of it all. Our regionals and GMs have become yes men and we're just treading water waiting for the next great initiative. I'm tired of saying I'm sorry to my customers because those dolts in Minny can't get theit shit together. Oh and your a f**king shill, realistic vs idealistic here. Go away.

That video brings back memories from a time I actually thought these bozos knew what they were doing, when in fact, they were truly clueless. What they did manage to do was fill their own pockets and secure themselves financially at the expense of everyone in the company. Every move those flunkies have tried to pull off has failed, time to clean house now!

That video coupled with the following rhetoric from all management was one of the greatest sales ever. We all bought into it... Sheesh

The clip just didn't show the officers on the catamaran setting it on fire, steering it into maelstrom, then exploding into a giant mushroom cloud. The horrid looks on the faces of the lost crew as they drift to the bottom.....

That’s the funniest piece of truth I think I’ve read on this forum. Well done!
