Is this a joke? Did someone hack into Vanda's job posting site. Who, in their right mind would apply to a company for an Associate Rep position with a posting that appears to be written by a delusional, out of touch, clueless egomaniac.

A poly cousin from the Homeland was rejected from med school but she writes pretty poems and children's stories all under 250 words. She is now qualified to be an assNSR.

Experienced and established reps can not meet the ridiculous (and unethical) demands of Vanda HQ. But they think that an inexperienced science major with no sales ability will succeed. THAT IS SO LAUGHABLE. Vanda does not even have a training department at all. Turnover is high now.and would be even higher with these associate reps. At best, they would last about 3 months before telling the crazy senior management to screw themselves.

Replacing the marketing department with a bunch of twenty somethings was en epic fail. Here we go again, hiring cheap help.

Has anyone bothered to apply? The time spent applying for this dead end job is better spent applying to a real pharma company that wants to pay for a real rep not an associate. This posting shows how out of touch Vanda is with the pharma industry.

I am interested in speaking to current Vanda employees and trying to learn more about the company's current sales practices and culture.

If you are interesting in speaking, please write a message to: TheTruthAboutVanda at gmail dot com

Is this Gym Teacher Tom? Slimy Poly? Vanda preaches a nice story about expecting reps to be compliant and above board. However, expectations are based completely upon selling off label and skirting all ethics. The culture is best described as very similar to that of North Korea except we do not have a great leader, just a greedy, slimy rat at the helm.

And a greedy slimy rat in Rockford territory that should be fired but instead is held up as the poster boy for Hetlioz.

January regional meetings showed the true culture including an NSD that belittled reps in a group setting and RSDs that readily encouraged off label selling of Hetlioz. But, nothing changed because everyone that wanted to go to compliance or HR knew they would be fired for speaking the truth and by not playing the Vanda Wink Wink game.

Fire away. The FDA would love to hear about reps fired for not enough intakes for a RARE disease. Vanda management and a handful of dirty reps are pushing an ORPHAN drug as a common sleep aid. And Tom says that if low intakes, maybe you are in wrong job. No, Tom its the dirty reps and you that should be selling used cars not medications.

paying 35 reps double what the rest of the sales team makes per intake is a big red flag for an orphan drug. Not only does it doubly reward the off label intake seekers, it also pits teammates against each other rather than encouraging each other. But that is the dirty Vanda way.

The goal of the company is for you to educate hcps about Hetlioz then not bother to tell you if that hcp had an intake. They are too stupid to understand that many of the Hetlioz writers and their staff don't have the time or desire or need to contact the rep. This is even more true now that the rep can but help them in any way. It was a broken system that is now so much worse. Every day brings a new realization that the king of the company has absolutely no concept of what is reality in the field. He hired goons under him that are too scared for their jobs to be honest with him.

Drs write H because they have been educated by the rep. The secrecy around intakes stinks

Yes! Vanda has the opposite of an open door policy. Upper management has no interest in learning from the reps. They sit in DC with no idea of the real pharma world. The CEO has never been in the field for even one day but calls 100 percent of the shots. Vanda will never hit Q1 earnings since they were based on CEO delusional expectations.

Vanda has posted two more associate sales reps positions. Both specifically state that individuals with no prior experience will be preferred. what is going on at this company?

The pseudo leadership does not have an open door policy or encourage any free thinking or questioning of decisions. Poly thinks he can create Mini Mihales with associate reps that will just do as they are told and not be independent thinkers. They will quit after about three months.
