Avee/Alere rep in OR/WA promoting another lab

Is Rick Reid still working for Avee/Alere? He has pitched a new lab he is involved with to Dr. George Raj in Bellingham, WA, Dr. Jianping Sun in Renton, WA and some of his current clients. A few of the physicians involved in new lab are Dr. Hyun Hong and Dr. Kim from Seattle area. Does anyone know the name of this lab?

 

Just came across a doc he was trying to sell this lab to. He was kinda confused since Rick is working for Avee/Alere. I'm in the lab business as well so still trying to find out name of this lab. Anyone finds out, post it here.

Definitely not LabCorp or Quest. The lab is supposedly partially owned by the aforementioned physicians in the first post. It's a physician-owned business model from what I understand.

I work for a national lab and one of my clients just told me that he was approached by Rick Reid to join his lab. Is he still working for Alere? If so, won't be much longer.

He had been demoted; however he was not at the recent sales meeting so maybe he was fired or resigned.

 

well. here it is. looks like ole ricky pulled a fast one on Alere. opened a lab in feb 2012 while he was still working for alere. surprised alere does not sue the pants off him for this.

Really. Their website sucks and is not even working now. What? No smart*** comments from the peanut gallery...... Guess the hammer is getting ready to come down. These doctors and the former Alere rep need to be taught a lesson.
