Aziz knows nothing about selling any damn thing. He's all marketing and market access. He thinks by getting couches for managers meetings he endears himself to Sales? Ha! He is a total joke, every manager (except RVK - who worships him) knows it.

So true. But thinks he knows it all and thinks everything is everyone else’s fault.

He’s selfish and throws people under the bus.

So he's a perfect fit for this second rate company.

Because he's a chicken shit who exudes more ego than his little body can manage. Still calling Avanir Allergan at the NSM? He's a fool too. His ego drives his decision making, not his brain - both are entirely inadequate to make decisions that affect so many people's lives. He couldn't care less about the sales force - I've seen his disinterest with my own eyes. He's 100% responsible for the $40 million TV ad campaign, but he's never accepted responsibility. Aziz is better suited to going back to being Minnie Mouse at Disney.

How come for Q1 only like 40 or so NAM’s out of 200 are at 100% or plus for Q1 goal and will make the 10K Target bonus ?
And 160 reps did not hit goal and will
make no wear near the Target bonus for Q1 ??

So Aziz wastes $40 million on tv ads when he could use that to pay 160 reps bonus?!! Wtf?

Look at incentive compensation since Aziz got here. Has Avanir paid out the target IC since then? Nope. Don't look at Q3 and Q4 as high payouts - that was because of his stupid forecast from Q2. Avanir has NEVER paid out target IC under Aziz or Wael. The best people at this company leave - and should leave, because they're too good for this place.

IC payouts will never improve. You can blame Aziz all you want, but Wael hired him and stands behind every one of his dumbass decisions. While he tries to come off as super kind, he's just as bad as Aziz.

When the company tells the reps
The “Target” bonus is 10K per
quarter, what does that really mean ??
I assume it means at Least half
the reps (being 100/200) on the
    NAM side should actually achieve
“Target” Bonus, but like for the last
8 quarters or so only like 40-50 reps
out of 200 are hitting the “Target”
    bonus. So realistically only about
25% of the sales force achieves “Target”
    bonus each quarter.
    Seems low ?
Anyone have thoughts on this ?

The target bonus is based on what it was just after the launch.... The growth of the Nuedexta is over, but there is still no change to actual projections of sales and therefore no change to bonus targets.

you mean that we got cut in our bonus so they can give more money to the sales force?

Has the company ever hit a financial goal for a quarter (not to even mention for a year) since Aziz came on board early 2017? What does this company do to sales reps who haven't ever hit the goals?

Since Wayal and Aziz joined Avanir has not made goal, morale is down to an all time low
And all the motivating perks have disappeared.
Wayal and Aziz fly first class and dictate to the sales force to fly at the bottom of the barrel
Plane rides. It doesn’t matter if you have to leave your house at 3am to get to the meeting by the dictated time. Flying in the day before is not allowed, the disrespect shown to the sales force is more than anyone can take.
Keep looking for other opportunities to get out of this nightmare of a company.
