Radius is going to make cuts, and sales force comes first. Any analyst will tell you our stock is overvalued by at least 30%, and Amgen is about to kick the crap out of both Tymlos and Forteo. Don’t believe it? Think about the 2 biggest objections you get and how Amgen can neutralize them with their dosing and Part B. The Mickey Mouse training we got at our POA’s has not prepared us for this challenge at all. We should all get moving to higher ground. There’s a lot of jobs out there at better run companies.
The real proof will be in the Evinity numbers we see this quarter and next. We are definitely not expanding at this point, but they are backfilling most of the open positions I have heard about.
Few things, first back filing rep's, most regions have gone from 8 or 10 to 6 to 8. Some doc's have been through 3 to 4 rep's....does that make any sense. The rep's they have hired are not over achievers because the obvious, most individuals who switch jobs would do the research and run away. And yes I have heard this is quarter and next are pivotal to making decisions around sales force. The oncology trials are going no where, we do have the money to support large trials since the drugs are not mono therapy. And yes the POA were a joke, but they always are. So where does this leave the viability of Radius?
Wow! Within one week, two RSMs have resigned, one associate director and a national director. Are we up to a 60% turnover rate now?
Radius’s turnover rate is well known in the industry. If you’re interviewing, the company you’re speaking with knows you need a better answer place to work. Trust me, managers that are in tune with industry know about our company and all the crap they’ve pulled on the sales force. Radius is a great place to have a steady paycheck while we look for our next real employers.
No ASD left...the national director for Health Systems left, one of her people left, the previous sales VP left, about 1/3 of the RSMs have turned over, 50% of the sales force nation wide has turned over...it's bad.
They don’t care. We are all Disneyland employees to them; a replaceable tool to get to the Board’s goals. They save money at the expense of the salespeople. Why do you think Nick fought to not pay the bonus you earned if you leave before the payout date? Why did the MBO’s get a delayed payout schedule? You are a place to save money. The corporate office cares very little for any employee not on their campus.
NICKel and dimed strategy, well like the saying goes, you get what you pay for and not paying folks for the work they do is total bs. The MBO changes is a desperate way to keep people and also another bs weak move. Just shows the desperation to save money versus pay for the work, we already did!
