But to answer your question since you are spouting off about things you're clueless about and fulfill your bitterness by coming on here, Purdue is a privately held family entity, so yes it would be smart for them to file for bankruptcy, which they probably will do. Now go do some research as to why Teva won't file and whats at stake when dealing with the Israeli government and the labor unions over there.
