I always knew there was a disconnect from field and home office but when I heard that on the call than I knew that she and a lot of the home office had a totally different experience with Sage and what was really happening than the reality we knew...and to me it was very condescending how she said it

The experience in Cambridge is a good one, though I’m sure that’s about to change drastically.

I disagree. Phony, inefficient, micromanaging and arrogant culture. It’s about to get much worse. I was fooled by folks who drank the kool-aid.

To be fair, there were some amazing things about working in Cambridge and some great people. Yes, the culture was manufactured to cover up some of the more horrible aspects.

My corporate office experience has been positive, but no better or worse than anywhere else in my career. The rah rah mentality comes standard with startups, but hey we all drink the koolaid or pretend to take a sip.

Not really. And “pretend to take a sip” is more fitting.
