You speak to doc's using DOM (Diharea of the Mouth) technique. You pass along clinical information they can read and print of the website for the most part. Your education is nothing close to a doctors. Your experience is limited to your products. You understand anatomy and they understand medicine and surgical proceedures to help improve/save lifes. Your no more than the snap-on or husky tool vendor supplying tools to the mech. You may have tools but they know how to use them. You seem to let your arrogance and ego get in the way of your perception of reality.

not the previous, do not even work for this company (work in joints) but your off on your rant. I agree that our education does not compare to the doctors we deal with. Experience limited to products? i guess, but we are experts in our own arena that we are asked to be specialists in. I wouldn't ridicule a mechanical engineer for not knowing anything about electrical engineering. Same goes for surgeons. Their experience is limited to their medical practice, your not going to find an orthopedic doctor doing vascular, so does that make him/her useless? I am in the OR because I provide service to not only to the doctor but more importantly to the staff and the surgeons appreciate that because your helping the scrub tech keep the case flowing without interruptions. I am not an ego maniac nor do i think i am god but for you to insult those of us who actually provide a VALUE to our customers, well is, insulting. The difference between a shitty rep like you and the rest of us is WE DO KNOW THE SURGICAL PROCEDURES if YOU do not know the procedures than why are YOU there? and what do YOU bring to the table? The good reps get asked their opinion more often than you think during a case, it's very clear that YOU are not for a reason....

Former diaper rep here. What a bunch of arrogant pricks. You think because you know how to turn on a bovie and open up a sterile package for a tech that you sit at the right hand of the Father? Guess what- wound care reps bring value to vascular and cardiothoracic surgeons when they bring them new dressings that prevent SSI's. How do you think a full house hospital conversion for feeding pumps or urologicals or pulse oximetry happens? Some worthless non-OR rep had to show clinicals regarding infection rates, point to primary endpoints, discuss p-values. Some non OR rep had to manage a trial accross ICU and surgical units, some non OR rep had to inservice the acct during all shifts. And guess what? Their products touch more patients than your $200 Swingline stapler or your cauderizing pencil.

But I needed to feel what it was like to wear scrubs. So I left my $210k a year diaper and mesh panty and feeding pump job for US Surgical. And I watched our trainers high five as 40% of my class failed out of training. And I flat wore it out selling my soul for an average of $165 a year. Not bad money, but what a horrible, horrible culture. And now I sell AAA, and I ton it, but work so much I don't have time to play golf or see my kids anymore. But hey, I do get to wear scrubs. All I can say is keep making fun of those low class non-OR folks...but the joke's on you.

No I moved on to Boston Sci. Better company, better money and more investment in innovation. The truth of the matter is that I sell something much much more complex than Joints. If I had a dollar everytime I listen to an OR rep talk about how great of an asset they I are I would not even be having this conversation right now. Diapers, people make great money working in the pits. Dont even try to tell me I suck. Did you w-2 250K-300K the last 4 years. My previous life I was a PA and I could not handle Med school after 2nd year so I took easy way out and became a PA. I still dont think that I am an asset to highly experienced medical professionals. I can tell you one thing your arrogant attitude and egotistical behavior is entertaining. Your big ego must be compensating up for other things in your professional or personal life. Hopefully this did'ent hurt your ego but in case let me pump you back up. SQUISH SQUISH SQUISH SQUISH.

All Division of this company blow big dirty goat balls. 99% of the management is a good ole boy network. Actually is should be called a good ole boy networthless company. Networthless because the net worthless results. The only way this company is showing growth in bottom line is by fucking thier employees. The new comp plan comes with a tube of lipstick and some KY jelly so you look good for management while your getting your sh*t pushed in.

Vascular= Mansfield management from Kendall which equal toxic.
Everything else is a mess from coast to coast.

How the hell do you even submit a general resume not for a specific position on your company website. The careers section of your website is the absolute worst I have ever seen. Links take you to places that don't even make sense and on every page they have a box that wants you to email them if that portion of the site is not working properly. Talk about frustrating. If this is any example of what it is like working here I hope you all have a lot of patience.
