It doesn't look good folks, update your resume. The great days of Novo are officially over. New strategies ahead.

Basic babel - if we don't reach our year end target - last resort is a reorg (target is high)

So now that Andy and the ponzi scheme of price increases are gone, the entire company's success lies in sales hitting astronomical goals... Realistic? No one else has accountability except to cut us...

30-50% tresiba growth quarter over quarter is common. Hilarious. Actively trying to push people away from the company.

hey op, how about some details. If this is true as you say- at what level are these cuts? Is there a %? When? There's no way they just said "layoffs are inevitable" and nothing else during your meeting. Can't you disclose anything else?

Actually, it was explicitly stated that there would be no lay-offs. Not sure why you'd try to scare everyone, unless you're an asshole. I guess you must be.

It's semantics. They will not fill roles for those who leave - and there are many who are leaving - and they will restructure the field and the home office eliminating positions that are no longer needed. It won't be mass layoffs, so they don't have to use that word and they can honestly say "layoffs" aren't happening. Welcome to the world of big pharma. We have been lucky to be sheltered from it for some time. The bubble has burst. It's smart to be prepared the worst, but hope for the best.

Every "restructure" has unintended comsequenses. Namely, talented people leaving. Morale drops for months after the restructure/layoff. Even those who remain feel less valued and those that can, look for other jobs. Often the best people leave. The brain drain. Add to this that some in leadership have openly referred to employees as a dime a dozen, increasing goals to impossible levels, and pulling back perks. It is no wonder most of us are miserable. All that remain are the ass kissers, mediocre performers and bloated egos. Sounds like a fun work environment. If you have another opportunity ....TAKE IT and RUN! Layoff or no layoff...time to get out.

Agree with the last post. I believe layoffs will not happen this week. It will be down the line when the new sales goals cannot be hit. All the good and smart people are leaving right now...They don't have to worry about any layoffs because they will have hit the number they wanted to loose. How many good ones have we already lost this week. I know of four in my area alone. The sad part is when you use the tactic they are, you get left with some below average talent. However, the best part is when NNI sends out emails like they were terminated. They want it to seem like they didn't loose anyone, but they were fired when that is not the case. Its actually pathetic. Instead of saying the person has decided to leave the company to pursue other interest. (The way the rest of the world lets the company know when people leave). We get to see emails like effective immediately this person is no longer working at Novo.
