For clinical labs doing biomolecular genetics / inborn errors of metabolism, the best choice is a Biochrom analyzer!

    HAHAHAHAHA! What a JOKE! Biochrom?

Biochrom is part of Harvard Bioscience. The post column ninhydrin technology is 60 years old and the analyzer design hasn't changed in 20 years. If you like nostalgic old technologies, there's better embodiment of ninhydrin based analyzers out there today from Germany. However, Mass Spec is where it is at now. The parent company HBIO sucks. The pay is low. The molecular side is run by a Chinese-born incompetent nutcase. Not a good company to work for. Even the CEO engages in nepotism, having put his country club friends' daughter in a favored position.
