    Yes, job cuts are coming. Even those who tend to keep their heads down in not doing much are to get caught, unless you report directly to JB, as they all are protected.

    Staff are being cut in small local numbers throughout R&D. UK, UM, RTP. It's being kept quiet and not totalled for public consumption, for obvious reasons. This will continue for years to come.

    I guess someone has to be right.

    It's always relative. If one person is let-go, but that person is you, then to you it can be massive......

    Agreed if you are the one to go it is massive, but we know what people mean on here when they say massive - something like a 10% cross functional cut. That is not on the cards, we have reduced from 15,000 to 11,000 and will stay around that number.

    The cutting is continuing in small numbers, throughout. I personally know of several areas that are in the process or have already made announements as to the unlucky ones. It remains budget driven, and there's no reason to think that spends will increase substantially over the next few years, let alone increase above inflation.
