DJO's products are up and coming and they seem to be taking a few of the top surgeons- I hear they pay a lot more....
They do pay a lot more...to docs in form of contracts. Ask ff and his main doc out on Long Island. he tried to get my doc a deal as well.
I was with Biomet for 13yrs and made the switch in Dec,. DJO doesn't have the revision systems "YET" like ARCOS/360, but with in a year we should see DJO systems capable of competing with the big 3. Ive made a lot of advancement with the P2 Linear hip stem and FMP P2 cup. Both mimic the Taperloc/G7 systems, also the Empower CR/PS knee and Altivate TSA were easy converts. Lost a lot of Oncology and Revision business, but soon that will be back. If you are tinking of making the change...do it!
