Bonus Needs to be Paid Out 100% Target period! All other pharma companies are paying Q1 Q2 at 100% target to all reps. A few have recently made decision to pay entire 2020 at 100% target.
Given the impact of covid & some areas of country affected earlier than others, some affected more sever than other, & even some affected longer than others still locked down while others go back to new normal.
The only fair thing to do for ALL reps across the US is pay 100% target bonus.
If a territory happens to be over 100% then dig into Pfizer 65 Billion Swiss bank account & pay those reps over 100%.
BUT NOBODY SHOULD BE PAID LESS THAN 100% THE FIRST 6 MONTHS & MORE THAN LIKELY Q3 AS WELL IF NOT ENTIRE YEAR.
It is the only fair thing to do!
Will it cost Pfizer & others more $$$ than what is budgeted for IC, yes BUT look at all the milllons nationally they are saving with few if any lunches, breakfasts, programs, co car gas, meals etc. Pfizer will more than offset the extra bonus those over 100% while paying all at 100% just by the millions they are saving on operational expenses with reps home for 3 months now! .

SO DO THE RIGHT THING & PAY 100% OR ABOVE. Whoever came up with this gross up or down Q2 is probably trying to offset bonus to stay in budget & shame on them!
Q1 100% for all is good, Q2 gross up for over 100% is good but shame on grossing down & offseting below 100% S1..... the reps has no impact in some areas of the country past the first 6-7wks of the year! Especially West Coast who was hit 2 months earlier than East Coast.

Agree 100% Most other companies are doing this.
As far as Contest & Premeir/Pres Clubs, you either have it 100% TBO objectives for 2020.
    Or
    You have Q4 & Q1 2021 as the 2020 Award Rankings!
    Then 2021 is a 3 Quarter award year Q2-4.

This is incentivize & motivate reps to finish year strong & start 2021 strong cuz EVERYONE is in play & ANYONE can win in a 2 Q- 6m performance period.
Or do not have Award Rankings in 2020 & take entire division to a company wide NSM in a nice place allowing 2 pre or post personal days on the trip..... Many companies did this in leau of Award Trip during Katrina & Harvey

I hope we get the full bonus too but we are all lucky to have jobs. Pfizer has been handling this perfectly

Or you could be happy we get any kind of bonus. In a time where MANY people have no paycheck coming in or very limited....we are still very lucky.

very tone deaf post by OP.

Agree to be lucky to have a job that pays 6 figures to be doing home renovations & playing golf 7 days a week for the last 3 months and probably a 4th.
But its relative to your industry. Pharma industry is not laying off per say, and paying full salaries and 100% Bonus.
After all patients are still taking their medicine & companies still making hundreds of millions even billions a month in sales so ALL companies should pay bonuses.

are you saying that your sales have not been impacted by the fact that you are not in the field?

Completely agree, bonus for Q 1,2 and 3 should be 100% unless the territory does more......then it should be higher of the two. But base salaries need to go up, way up. It was hard to get time before and this whole thing has made this job just that more difficult. Pfizer is still changing a fortune for these drugs and it’s going to take real work to get new scripts now.

Asking for a raise to be at home? The greed couldn’t be more apparent. Go apply for Biogen if you want more money.

Don’t make the rest of us look bad

Totally agree. Obviously coming from Pfizerbots who've never worked anywhere else. This is a great place - don't screw it up for the rest of us. And, please, go somewhere else, (if you can), or sit down and shut up.

MORON! You’re obviously underperforming, suck at your job, and hoping for a miracle courtesy of COVID19 to bring you some cash. Everything you said is incorrect, check your facts Einstein before reporting to others.

No they have not, and in some cases have went up....don’t think corporate hasn’t noticed this, not a good omen for reps

People should be happy with 80% payout... naive to think otherwise. It’s going to seem like a lot in a year or so if offices stay clamped down and most everyone is let go. Good luck finding another “gig” that pays as well with all the bennies.

good point. It begs the question of what impact that reps really have when they are in the field.

This sage wisdom gets trotted out whenever there's a shift in the market. Been in the business for many years and, yes, reps will always be needed. Can't replace the selling influence of a one-on-one conversation especially if there is rapport with the HCP. The one thing that might change, (and should for some companies), is the number of reps in the field. Culling the herd could help the industry's relevance.

Wow. You get full salary, medical, dental, use of car and still demand more when many are struggling to put food on the table. Please be grateful for what you have

When are you going to realize that there will be layoffs by end of the year. Telemedicine is going to be around for awhile and live office visits will be way down due to the need for staggering number of patients in the office. The occasional VCC/VSP won't be enough. And Hospitals and Offices will most likely not want reps in their offices. I hope I'm dead wrong. Pfizer has been great, bonus a month early, leadership great

Um, if you work for the company, you know they’re giving you a compensation guarantee. Given your poor attitude, it’s probably more than you deserve. I’d recommend you move on to another opportunity, and see how that works out for you. I’m...
