Has to do with the WARN act look it up, company has to give 60 days notice of layoff, they are paying you for 2 months
Never heard of this either but it is probably a lot cheaper than Medicare fraud fines and being kicked out of nursing homes and doctor offices.
It is California State law look it up on the government website companies have to file a WARN notification prior to layoffs. They is a running list on the internet of companies that have filed notification.
WARN act is real. Technically we are being given 4 months. 2months on regular payroll then 2 months severance
