And this is why your Novo cronies having been detailing about the excruciatingly large 28 gauge needle & how complicated the dosing will be for Bydureon for over a month now?

It's all laughable & reeks of desperation.

If Novo actually though we'd be grabbing Byetta share & not affecting Victoza share then when all the new marketing pieces & detailing strategies???

By the way, in case you don't know, doctors think those arguments are silly....

Are we really arguing on Cafepharma about whose drug is better. Arguing on Cafepharma is for fags.

Good Lord, you guys are lost. Did you see your stock today--it's moved less than 2% on the announcement of Bydureon's approval. Everyone, except Amylin, see this drug for the shitbox that it is. You can act like Novo has been counter-detailing and act like Novo is worried, but only stupid reps are talking about Bydureon right now. Docs don't care; investors don't care; Novo doesn't care. Only Amylin cares about Bydureon, and, ultimately, it will spell your demise. You've got the entire future of your company tied up in a drug that no one wants. Good luck with that!

You are a moron. When announcements like these happen there is a hold placed on stock trading...

By the way, thanks for marketing Bydureon for me with your scare tactics before I am able to talk about it.

Thank goodness there are some seriously scared & bottom of the intelligence gene pool Nono reps around helping Amylin!!!....Just too bad Nono only cares about markt share & not PATIENT CARE!...Better be VERY careful Nono...Your top brass & legal dept signed a 75 pg. Corporate Integrity Agreement along w/the U.S. Attorney General & Office of Inspector General back in May 2011. For 5 years you are under the microscope from the OIG & FDA as they investigate all the illegal marketing practices. Like the Schwartz kid in the Christmas Story -you'll get yours.....FDA loves to render billion dollar fines these days, they make some good coin that way....

Ummm... per the PI for Bydureon it it not an excruciatingly large 28 gauge needle. It is an EVEN LARGER GIGANTICAL 23 gauge needle. Too bad.

It is not an excruciatingly large 28 gauge needle folks - it is an even LARGER 23 gauge needle... try selling that one to a primary care physician who avoids injectibles at all costs. You will certainly gain a percentage of the former Byetta business back, but it will be a small percentage. Also, you will utterly fail at gaining entirely new prescribers for the GLP-1 class. Sorry, but it is the truth.
