YES. He was horrible. The manager was terrible. The sales rep was great and was growing the business a lot. Rumor is nuvasive forced him out. the cleveland manager couldn't sell toilet paper to his own ass. probably taking orders at the local fast food joint.

Got a question for anyone in the "know". I have noticed that a handful of Nuvasive reps and some senior managers have left and gone to DePuy Spine recently....what’s going on over there that’s so attractive?

As a hiring manager, Nuvasive resumes are a dime a dozen. Each story is different to why they want out. What is the real scoop?

They are a one trick pony.

As a hiring manager for another spine company I am surprised how guys end up on interview list. Yes, they know lateral but they are brained washed with the (XLIF) hammer and nail most of time when it comes to surgery. Pretty scary if you ask me.
I have only hired one guy that luckly had previous experience with another major spine company.

come on folks...the anatomy of the spine is about as basic as it gets in the medical world. If you can change spark plugs, you are in....don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

This must be true because the head of sales has no previous spine background or education and a checkered professional past. To hire someone who lacks these fundamentals in a top spot means it must be a really simple business. I was shocked when he was hired.

There was a FDA Maude Report recently saying a patient received some kind of black spots (burns) due to a "Dr" requesting the nerve monitoring put in certain places.....riiiight.

Everyone knows no medical educated people are placing the nerve monitoring on patients. The MAUDE report was recently purged from the FDA website. (Keep watching it daily for stuff like this)

My guess is its tied into that...somehow they burned a patient. Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall in the FDA Medical Device office?

How on Earth did the nerve monitoring system burn a patient??? Something's being covered up.
