Why would Teva keep any of the CNEs? They are a wast of money.

That is a brilliant post that is generating a great deal of intellectual thought sharing. Pat yourself on the back!

You’re clearly an idiot. For MS, the CNE’s are amazing and are the reason many patients remain on the injectables.

I agree with the original poster. The CNE position is a wast of money. The ITN are the ones seeing the MS customers/patients now and have for a long time. The CNEs just do office calls and claim to be needed for HD patients to make sure they follow their titration. What a joke the CNE positions is and simply a wast of money!!!!!

Very True. Every sales rep I know wishes they didn't have a CNE

You definitely have a point here. When the CNE’s started having call metrics is when they lost value. The ITN are good but we never get any feedback or awareness of patients.

Teva could save even more money if they would do away with the rest of the CNE group from the head down. I thought the CEO was serious about make cuts to save money at Teva but when he left half of the CNE group still employed and allowed JG to still live in Billings and commit to KC every week. Tells me that he isn't very serious about making saving money. At the end of the day I agree with the original poster, the CNE's are a wast of money

Sales people always show who they truly are in the long run. You will backstab and throw anyone under the bus to save yourselves. So pitiful and pathetic. The CNEs will land on their feet no matter what. They are licensed and have a true profession. What do you have? Salesforces are dwindling by the day. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the CNE team and learn how to spell "waste". Until next time sunshine!

Tell us what value you and the rest of the CNE group bring to Teva? Please post how you are evaluated and any numbers to support your claim of importance. We all know you can't provide Andy of these sunshine!!!

I know that you are scared and you should be, but that is no reason to devalue others. Focusing more on the endpoint or patient relative to drug fulfillment, adherence, etc. equates to "prevention", which in the healthcare landscape, usually cannot be justified with a dollar amount or numbers. I will stop here because based on this idea not being on your radar, you will not be able to grasp this concept and are not patient-focused. Most salespeople profess to care about the patients, but you are a prime example of why this is not the case most of the time. The inept salesforce and sales leadership is the reason why Teva is in its current situation. Best of luck, you are definitely going to need it.

Okay... we agree you can't but a value on the CNE position.

Yup they provide zero value. If Teva had any kind of leadership the CNE position would be gone!

I have a phone interview next week for a Neurology Sales Specialist position. After reading these post I believe I'll use this upcoming interview as a practice interview to brush on interviewing....not the place to be. Sorry to hear about the state of affairs with the company and wish you all the best.

Like the patients really sit around the office waiting to meet with a CNE.
Could a sales rep ride with a CNE and count these meetings?

They just yak with the other nursies.

If you are unemployed then maybe consider but I would stay away! Toxic culture has always been bad but currently at an all-time high! Also recruiters pretty sick of Teva reps in general, especially the DB's that try to leverage for a raise. If you aren't in Neuro and want experience not a bad place to be...MS + Oprhan drug experience doesn't hurt the resume. Like all places manager makes all the difference in the world and many are a-holes here so ask around! Good luck!
