Can anyone provide information about what this company is like to work for? Got a call from a recruiter today and the territory seems very large and there would not be that many surgeons to call on, thus limiting your potential. Pay seems pretty good, at plan. Any info on this division would be appreciated.
Codman has some good products but the neuro market seems dry on innovation. It seems that without new product, the only way to gain market share is to steal from either Integra, Medtronic, or Aesculap. Codmans new strategy is to win market share with aggressive pricing. Not really a pretty fight. Codman has a strong shunt product line and disposable line. I think most reps make 120k+ at least. Neurosurgeons are a different breed so be aware who you will be calling on. Don't expect to become budy budy with them. In my Florida territory they chew reps up and spit them out without thinking twice If you take things personal; its not the place for you.
what is the recruiters # please?? i am looking to get into that company after doing spine for 6 years somewhere else-
Hey guys, I'm interviewing for an implant specialist position with Codman. Can any tell me what the culture and management is like in the division? Also, how well are the products received by the neurosurgeons? Would I be selling the entire neuroscience product line or only certain products? Thanks for your help....
Anyone know what's up with the Codman VP, Matt Jerrett? What an ass! Is he as difficult to work with as he appears to be in the interview process? The hiring manager and team are great but he really lowered my impression of the organization as a whole. Just not sure I want to work for the organization if he is intricately intwined in my manager's day to day life. Any advice on this guy? What a piece of work....
