Your Fagarin Rankings of schedule are clearly bullshit, the 7 teams Alabama has played have a 2013 record of 22-27, bet you're looking forward to that classic tilt against Chattanooga on November 23rd. Yeah, feel the power, when real programs are deep into conference play the SUC schedules an FCS power game. Jump on the bandwagon boy! SUC!SUC!SUC! Yay "conference"!

 

I got 2 words for you regarding Oregone schedule....... Nicholls State....... now only total moron questions 7 consecutive national titles. in the majority of those games, the sec was the underdog and ranked #2 going into the game only to beat down #1 just like Auburn did to your #1 Oregone team a couple of years ago. Damn you have one super sized case of SEC Envy...... SEC always welcomes any type of playoff. The BCS was a 2 team playoff and the new 4 team playoff next year will further show SEC dominance. Poor Guido, he blames the BCS for his conferences failures but reality shows the BCS has nothing to do with them sucking. It runs much deeper than the BCS. Looking back at 40 years prior to the BCS (1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s up to `97) shows that the SEC was still the best football conference. Here is look at national titles of the 3 conferences going all the way back to 1960 which is before most of us were even born.

little 1o...... 4 titles
pac 1........ 7 titles
SEC....... 10 titles

Now mind you, lil 1o and Pac 1 wanted to accept status quo and letting homer voters decide on a national champion. Both fought going to a 2 team playoff cause they knew they would get exposed.

Here is a look at last 50+ years (1960-2013) including the 2 team playoff (BCS).

lil1o......... 5 titles
pac 1......... 8 titles
SEC........... 18 titles

Looking forward to the new 4 team playoff next year cause it will further expose the weaknesses of the lil 1o and pac 1.

Colorado State, Georgia State, Chattanooga. Wow, 3 cupcakes not including the SUC schedule. Virginia Tech has the best record of any team the Tide has played this year. Remember, so far this year the Tide schedule is teams that are a combined 22-27, one ranked opponent and only 1 or 2 ranked teams remaining. If this were translated into an RPI like in basketball, the sport with a real playoff that creates real national champions (like Florida) in the most exciting three weeks of college athletics, Alabama would have a really bad seed and have to work to make the final, not be granted it. One last word BWB, just in case you forgot: Oregon 59, Tennessee 14. Good thing Tennessee rebounded with that awesome SUC schedule that included Austin Peay, Western Kentucky and South Alabama. The SUC is a f'ing joke.

 

True date. 1 title every 10 years with no playoff and only homer voters was best of mediocracy and best possible situation for big 10. If they did not like the BCS, they will really hate the new 4 team playoff.
