Can someone help me understand this? Why would they announce this now of all times!?!?!?

How are your accounts handling the increase? I have several loyal guys that will fight for me to a certain point, but as the $$ gap increases so does the pressure from management to use cheaper alternatives.

Couldn't agree more. Surgeons will only do so much nowadays. Management rules the roost lately. Commodity products will fall the cracks...corkscrews, fiber wire, screws, etc...

10 years ago this would have meant a 10-20% raise. Today it means we will be kicked out of surgery centers. I can hear it now- "sell value, not products"

This will bring attention to the all the non implantable STERILE products we bill our customers for.this will cost us more than we think.

No backlash here yet. It's not like our reputation for being the most expensive is going to change drastically anyways. Personally I think things like tightrope, teno screws, tape/swivelocks should have gone up in price a while ago.
