This s a temporary blip on the radar; in 3 months it will be a distant memory.

Medically sound advice. Sounds like someone wanted to reinvigorate the post.

That’s a pretty cavalier and uninformed view. You clearly know nothing about transmission of disease and reproduction. This will not be a blip on the radar in 3 months and we will all be lucky if there are any signs of normalcy by then. The impact will be felt for many months to come

Give it another month. Or when the first pharma company decides to lay people off, expect the flood gates toopen. Most will lose their jobs and they will not comeback.

This is test to see how well sales can do with phone calls and emails, if it works, they wont need us anymore

You have to be in front of the customer. A pseudo crisis doesnt qualify as a true test run on whether f2f sales work wout the in person face. Layoffs could happen because companies didnt add this pseudo crisis trump hating left in their business plan. More of an evil test run for socialism. See of people are stupid enough to stay home loose everything and believe the fake media while doing nothing to for everyday flu

Trial run for socialism more like it. The evil left is up to this pseudo crisis and all the sheep are following

I stand by my view, in three months things will be substantially back to normal for most people on a day to day basis; however there will be financial wreckage for many small business owners unless uncle steps up.

Doctors offices are closing, not seeing patients and not doing anything except laying off their staff. They will come back and this is only temporary, patients still need medicine and care and we will be there for them, just like the rest of the nation.

The reality is that this crisis will continue for months and there is not a reasonable expectation for offices to open back up to us in this time. Yes they want our samples, but not bad enough for the majority to say the coast is clear, come on in. It’s not the medically responsible thing to do assuming C-19 guidance stays the same. Big pharma will not be able to continue paying large sales forces for months on end. Any attempts at managing sales efforts though the phone or video will have limited success. Can you imagine your team of 2-3 people on the same drug fighting to set up phone details???

Just like this is a transformational time for the country, it will also be one for pharma. Wish it wasn’t, but the $$$ will dictate these changes.

Already heard chatter of layoffs, anyone hired in last year first to go. No reason to support all of us especially in launch when profit is declining. Sad reality. Praying I get a chance to
    Stay.

You’re the one starting the chatter of layoffs!

When Abbott takes full control, you can surely count on some major house cleaning. They have the reputation of running a clean-mean machine.

Great! I’ll take my year severance as clearly defined. I can think of many ways to stay busy

Clearly defined as a change of control severance! Any other reason and you won’t get that 52 weeks!

You'll never get 52 weeks severance pay from Abbott. Trust me!
