Who is making decisions here? We are 2 weeks behind Italy. Next weekend everything will get shut down in the states.

Sales will not be met, numbers will not get done, budgets in limbo, audit ain’t happening either, distribution won’t ship, manufacturing won’t manufacture. Canada, Israel to feel the pain too.

But, the office is still OPEN for those who can’t work at home.

Time not to focus on work, but our health and well being. For a VP to walk around hacking this past week is a wake up call.

Italy is closed. USA is next.

Taro made a mistake by not replacing old desktops with laptops so people can work from home.
This is now an industry standard.
Only managers have laptops, but the rest of us have to go to work and get sick.

We are also contending with owners that come from a country that throws garbage into their own waterways.
This virus is nothing to them.

What a shame. They scrambled because the Trump Loving All Boys Club said it’s only a common cold we are dealing with.

The company will never recover from this mistake. Not letting people work from home in 2020 is fucking ridiculous.

Let’s all gather in the lunchroom to celebrate birthdays and cough all over each other

It IS a shame because Taro is a solid company that is poorly managed by people who are very slow at making important decisions such as this one.

You can bet that it won't be a solid company for much longer if this keeps up.

We have no leaders. We have a bunch of pussies that walk on egg shells. For not having a plan in place it’s such a shame. It’s 2020 for heaven sakes. After 9/11 I thought “all” companies had emergency plans for a crisis like this. Who comes out with egg on their face? All of management. Oh and they make a decision on a Saturday too? Ridiculous. Company is going right in the toilet.

Seriously? How can you even trust individuals with lap tops? They accomplish no work in the office, what do you think they will do at home?

Here's an idea, do something about those people. If they ain't trustworthy, they shouldn't have a job

And you got the people with laptops who don't work on laptops or at the office and get a paycheck

All your complains here are surprising and unfair.
People don't seem to notice and appreciate how much company is doing for them these days :

    - Employees have access to public hand sanitizers and Free hand soap in bathrooms !
    - Garbage is removed on a daily basis now!
    - New filters for air conditioning were ordered and should arrive as early as August'20
    - All employees receive Free E-mails from management with guidelines relative to COVID-19 situation !
    - Anyone feeling sick is allowed to use his/her vacation days to stay home until full recovery

Just think about this and be grateful

The government in India will intervene tomorrow and crack down on Indian companies who put profits before human lives. Coronavirus cases will be out of control in India by April 2.

PM Modi please do the needful before it hits 850 million people. We cannot social distance in Mumbai.

They still haven't closed the Hawthorne office yet?
Wow, they really don't give a sh*t about your lives, do they?

Take all that cash in the balance sheet and use it for a good purpose.
Send your people home and pay them!

I'm excited about the ice cream and food trucks that are coming back.
Who wants to stay at home when they offer these benefits?

Why Mumbai is not ordering closure of offers due to corona virus?

Is month March more important than life of your employees?

    Agree
No other companies have free soap in bathrooms, I'm sure. We are truly lucky.
How about free parking in front of Hawthorne building? Another great benefit!

What "profits" are you talking about? We are barely making enough to pay for Mr DS daughter's shopping trips to NY. It's a shame
We need to do more!!! (...for less)

Companies in Mumbai are still risking their employees lives by asking them to come to work. Hope @MumbaiPolice take an action before someone get infected and die.
