There's chatter about changes coming to CV specialty, anyone know what the changes will be and when they'll be announced?

Cuts across the board are coming in droves. You don't cut 200 people and save $1.5 billion

...And here is our accountant again! We got it the first 50 times you made this post. But keep reminding us anyway.

The question is...what in the hell are they going to do with all the scrubs in their closet when they get fired? Sorry...displaced. Maybe we should do some philanthropy initiative with all of them.

I work in HQ. Yes we are firing all those overpaid deadbeats

Not firing all of them. A few will survive in another role. Same with Account Directors but most of them will be retired early with a package.

That makes no sense. Why would the Cardiovascular team be dissolved with a few survivors going somewhere else. Brilinta is one of the few products the company is banking on.

Didn't say they were being dissolved, just reduced significantly in number. Access continues to shrink in all areas so across the board reductions makes sense.

Heard CV will go back to days of a clinic rep and a hospital rep. Like at launch when there was still CVAS and hospital.

Incentive structure to change as well. Hope we're still zip to terr

Yes, CV will be restructured and reduction will be large across the country especially in saturated teaching institutions. The new divisions will carry additional products and the managers will be cross functional in both sales and managerial responsibility. Unlike other division cuts, CV sale force reductions will be based on metrics.

We could get by with 5 or 6 Account Directors. This department is the most bloated and biggest waste of money in the company. Even they cannot account for their time. No pun intended.
Just ask one of them what they did yesterday or last week and watch them squirm.

Tic Toc Tic Toc most to them are old washed up failed leaders from days passed. Once they force them out into early retirement they will not back fill their positions.

And here you go again. Hijack a thread and bring it back to managed markets. I think we should start guessing what loser that got let go by MM's is being eaten from within w/ hate and vengeance. Any guesses anyone?

Shit, losers let go by managed markets is a long list but not as long as the list of losers still in managed markets. How about starting that list. I will give you just a few states, Tx, Fla, Ohio, and CA.
