Amgen is looking to buy more respiratory assets and be a leader now that GSK is stepping down from respiratory. Amgen to merge with AZ. McKinsey has been hired for dilligence.

 

McKinsey was also working with Enron.

New pipeline priority in oncology and new business areas. Respiratory will be a priority if TSLP ends up being a hit and Amgen wants new and better assets in this area.
