It has been that type of culture from the beginning. If you did not work the leadership in the past or room with them in college you did not have a chance. There were some quality folks on board in the beginning that were railroaded. Same on them for not keeping them.

Merry Christmas and I pray for you not to go to hell.

Don't bother going to HR. JJ is incompetent. Go see a private lawyer.

HR is your friend. Don't get an attorney involved. We will work with you. Trust us, it's all confidential and we will have your back. There will be no target on you if you provide us with the details. Disiplinary action up to and including termination will be dispensed against your manager.

Derm alone is an HR nightmare. 2 “ leaders” destroying moral with sd”s and tas’s.

This comment must be in jest...JJ and others know who needs to go, but no action taken. Remember all positions are employment at will and if there is a contract a buyout clause so..When someone says "trust us" that should be the red flag..

RVPs are bullies! The worst is BM. She’s trying to make up for her incompetence by bullying other employees, especially women.

That meeting was a complete debacle the derm rvp’s, AH and MB should remember their roots. One has a job because he is friends with Tom’s, one has a job because she sold a boatload of blood and piss, the other one has a job and he never closed a large global case account, and the last one with the company quit and then came back as the golden child. They said she interviewed for the job that’s funny I don’t remember seeing that job posted? They are able to treat us like this because we have no power, the power lies within unionization, perhaps we should become a union and they could not treat us like this. Union standards mandate that all jobs need to be posted and opened for public interviews

A union won't help. This company will be sold again in 18-24 months to a bigger player. Avista has left the incompetent SVP's in place, not cleaned house of the favorites that don't perform and just trying to put lipstick on the pig to flip the client list. If Avista saw the future in making their investment back with great returns Tom, AH, Lash, Jacobs, Priestly, Huddleston would all be gone by now. They didn't have a people plan in place when they purchased MLS. We can stay and collect a check or decide next career move. Spending effort on why it hasn't changed here is wasted energy.

You nailed it. This whole deal with Avista is shady. Something is missing in the story. Initial $220 million intent to buy was not a market price for MLS, it was a firesale price. If the future growth of MLS required significant investments and expertise(stated reason for change in ownership), they would have sold it to a bigger established buyer not a PE firm. Then something happened during negotiations and they ended up unloading the whole thing for some ridiculous $12-13 million number. In the mean time name Miraca was taken out of BMGL despite of holding 60% stake. First thing post acquisition is change of name and hiring of an ethics officer. Everyone else in the senior management still there. No one is sure where it goes from here on.
