A bunch of people were handed their walking papers.
Reps, regional mgrs, area directors....no one was spared.
Just trying to understand the rationale behind why these ones were acrificed.

Dentsply is trying to see how quickly they can become big pharma. Get ready for catching signatures in hallways for details. Tracking your every move. Cross collaboration between teams and listing each divisions “top accounts” so when they have a 50% RIF in each territory it won’t effect business unit much. DS is working to cut distribution and go direct for all, hence why during COVID they mention the distribution reps were trusted more by the DDS.

I would have to agree that I believe this is the possible long term strat. They will get slaughtered ... at least in my market. As soon as the dealer reps start feeling this they will wisely convert all of the business. Doom for Dentsply.

It is sad because none of the reps agree with the strategy......mid-level managers do as they are told and read from scripts.....directors are empty puppets and offer no meaningful guidance......low morale has bottomed out.......it is now a micro-managed Pharma model without Pharma pay.....there is zero team camaraderie because everyone does a different job.....many reps are planning to leave in 2021 based on this ridiculous strategy......the toxic Sirona culture and failed sales model is ruining a once respectable company.....everyday is now death by a thousand cuts.......investors need to know just how bad it has truly become.........where is the board of directors?

this company has zero future...at least under the current management...Eric Bruno has lied directly to the sales force time and time again and Linda G. is so far over her head it isn’t funny. Both are awful and universally disliked...

They “displaced” a ton of good leaders in October due to this ridiculous restructure, it was just a sham to get rid of high salary people. They think they can plug and play , they have zero credibility anymore. 80% + people, reps and managers have resumes out and are actively looking to get out.

2nd major reorg in 16 months, they have no idea how to run a business and it shows...

Agree on everything except the culture statement. The company does have a culture - and its shit.

I mean you have to give them some credit for consistently getting everything wrong from quotas to commissions to product launches. They have to actively work hard to be this bad and all under the guise of "we always do the right thing!"

Everyone needs to watch out for their dogs when the boss is in town too!

I’m going with Don or Bruno. overpay for an ortho company, sell a bunch of debt, get your stock options exercised and then split for greener pastures.

Overpay for an ortho company??? The deal is amazing. Took shares to almost $60 and added $200m in sales. Seems smart.
