How is the direct model working out for Recon in Virginia, Arizona, New York, Philly? Is it better for the reps or worse? What is different? Looks like it could be happening for me in the future....Any guidance??

The magic question is what is going to happen to everyone once the 1 or 2 year deal you sign to stay on runs out. Corporate knows they need to sweeten the deal to keep you on. However, the fact that they believe the Quintiles reps are good ideas should tell you what they think of us

the deal is close to what you did the year before. However they factor in things like benefits, not having to pay for your own credentialing, lunches & dinners and taking surgeons to courses etc.. They use that to get to your number you made while 100% commission. It's fuzzy math at best. Most if not all side products are gone as well.

Unless you can walk away and take enough business to hurt them it's take it or leave it. Most people that don't have that pull expect to be replaced within 1-2 years with fresh 50k a year salaried cover reps.

Whenever you start seeing loads of junior reps shadowing senior reps all of a sudden you know that is not good.

Looks like the direct model is the direction that the company wants to go with. Distributor network is being replaced weekly! Are you guys seeing this in your areas?

Company is moving direct and replacing Distributors. Happened in several areas this year already.

Shouldn’t go direct.. Should go to R&A. Leadership at AVP level is too weak to handle. DS market in CHI was weak to begin with. This move will continue to destabilize further. Should be the nail in the coffin for KB.

They’ve completely F’ed this company up. Sad to watch all we built be butchered by people who have no clue....
