Do any present or past employees at Shire believe they have been discriminated against, retaliated against, or harassed? BU and broad geographical area information is what is needed.

This is a joke, right? White men were consistently promoted and rewarded over females and minorities!! Shire was and continues to be a good old boys club. Hopefully, Takeda cleans house!!

You’re the one bringing up race. So you are the racist! We hire the best person for the job. Judge by character, not color.

If you were at Shire from 2013 or after, either you saw discrimination openly or were discriminated against. I’m shocked there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit, although Flemming brought in his own HR people to push away any troublemakers who tried to raise awareness.

May that whole shithole of corruption rot in hell. The good guys got out awhile ago.

Not discriminated against, but treated very badly during 2017.

The reason there hasn't been a lawsuit is because those in management who were discriminated against were paid very well to leave with their silence. This happened from late 2013 through the last year. People had reems of evidence about a certain sales VP but they cashed in and left it all behind.

Not necessarily true. Many inflictors of dicrimatory practices at the Area Sales and Manager level are very much alive. Takeda will be informed. Tides are turning. It’s absolutely shameful for the subculture of harassment to exist. HR is certainly not equipped to handle the numerous issues there for they are deemed completely ineffective. Document the harassing actions. Go to a reputable employment attorney. Build your case. This issue is pervasive and systemic and it’s unacceptable. Good luck!

All of research is a giant lawsuit waiting to happen.

Tell that to all of the people leaving. There isn't really a research department left, just a bunch of morons wandering around waving their CVs, trying to make themselves relevant. Nepotism is destroying what it left.

This is a very true statement. I was paid to go away too. Apparently, it’s happened to many other people too. If you don’t fight for yourself, they will screw You!
