Man Lfizer sure did dodge a bullet with the Allergen deal flopping a few years ago. Looking over this Abbvie deal it’s about 90B after debts and seemingly zero pipeline. What were they thinking?
Pfizer nixed the deal after a ton of public pressure regarding tax inversions. Brent would’ve taken the deal in a heartbeat. Look at how horrible Abbvies deal is in comparison and Allergen is glad to take the deal aka lifeline.
