thats actually not bad for primary care. Don’t tell me, you thought migraine was “specialty”.

I’ll take 120k for primary care any day of the week.

    What is the DM pay?

Not primary care. Large territory, buy and bill selling only to headache specialists.

Although the recruiter I spoke with would not give specifics I told her I was looking for 135-150 base with at least 40K bonus at goal and she said that was not a problem, definitely in range. I will be quite disappointed if they offer 120.

Hey Prima Donnas...unless you are in Oncology or Rare Disease, anything over 100K is a good salary with benefits! Think of all the other 'special reps' that have been let go with downsizing or after launch product didn't do as well as expected.

I was told last week by recruiter on Monday that salary was 100-110, but that he could bump me up to 115. 40k uncapped 1st yr, but not the next. Base is below what I've been making for over a decade (not boasting, just saying, b/c this is not the range for specialty anything). Some of the earlier posts about higher salary are rather perplexing.

I spoke to a DSM this week but haven’t heard anything since. We didn’t discuss salary at all. Can anyone verify from a conversation with an actually DSM what the salary range is? If it’s 100-110 then I’m definitely not considering. They won’t get top talent for that salary! This won’t be an easy sell at all.

Low budget company. This is a train wreck.

This company simply doesn’t have the means to go up against the competitors in this market. Their stock has been plummeting.

If your total comp. in pharma is under 100k, you are easily underpaid.

Base pay is not a big deal.

Now, the better jobs are going to be about 150-200k total comp, and that is where it should be if you have a big territory.

Sure thing Nancy. You are a drug rep, not a neuro surgeon.

You deliver lunch for a living. $100k is too much.

i would pass on this opportunity.

The company should have sold when they fell behind other CGRPs.

Now the internal valuation is too high for anyone to take the risk on the competitive nature of this space.

That means they have to cobble together a commercial organization as cheaply as possible and throw a Hail Mary in hopes of finding enough migraine centers willing to do infusions for profit.

Have they hired a VP sales? Looks like no one wants the job-bad sign.
