Maybe none of the leaders ever want to do layoffs but they're starting to come around to being more realistic.
Instead of 2 reps running at 100% we have 3 reps running at 50%. The inefficiency makes for a miserable work experience.
Both DCS go part time until dust settles, get rid of 3rd one, keep one EDCS, get rid of systems reps, get rid of DEs, get rid of insulin brand (gone right), trainers and managers take two geographies, trim sample accountability, trim training.
Agree. Especially like how when IC/Goal question was asked, Brian immediately shifted to Q3....what about Q2??? Q3 will be “normal” get three months with MAJOR stress, try to get as much out of everyone, and then a bloodbath Nov/Dec as usual timeframe @ NNI.
Maybe you just got here, but we love nuanced language at NNI. Our executives like to say things like ‘there are no layoffs PLANNED at this time.’ It leaves them plenty of wiggle room. Or they like to blow up the map, ‘displace’ employees, and then tout all the openings that are available (in a geography nowhere near the displaced employees). It’s a formula they love to use. I’m sure you’ll see plenty of that in the Fall.
Honestly, what do you expect them to say? If you were in Doug's shoes or Brian's shoes, you'd say the same thing.
