Not shocked. The smart ones knew it was coming. Fake promises of expansion to keep you working. What a couple dirt bag companies to drop us during times like this.

Wow...I kinda saw it coming but to do this right now is so heartless. Amplity is the worst. A/Z and now Novartis.

I know the answer. If you are a good rep then you wouldn't be worried so much.

This contract has been awful for so long and it's no surprise it ended. Crappy timing though. Good luck to everyone.

After 4 short years Novartis realized Primary Care physicians will not prescribe Entresto.

Wonder how many people missed the email and were not on the call. Bet there was a bunch of people that found out second hand that they are losing their job.

I think this particular contract was going to be wrapped up by the summer anyway. The virus stoppage just accelerated the decision. My concern for the other Novartis teams is now that this brand decided to pull the plug, it makes it that much easier for other teams to do the same. Iā€™d be bracing for conference calls any day now. Keep checking your email! It sucks, but you knew what you were getting into when you took a job with a CSO

Agreed. Anyone who is "shocked" by this contract ending is an idiot.

Did they get any type of severance? Paid through April or are they done as of 3/31? Can they get unemployment? How can you even look for work in this environment?

When was the contract originally supposed to end? How many people did this impact?

We all get this was a contract and it would end. However, this is so crappy to let people go during this crisis! They should have ended the contract in June or July. Speaks volumes about Novartis!

It was either the last day of june or july. It was around 350 not sure how many openings we had. Really sucks for the 30 or so that were in the Training class. Those poor people really got screwed.

Business 101. Another clueless of what contract means and where it fits in. Another clueless of their actual employer. Hint...look at your paycheck.

Will there ever be a contract that will satisfy you? Doubtful.
