I think President Trump is the best thing that could have happened to our country and to our political system! Serious question for all of you on the left side of the aisle. Since President Trump has been in office, can you give me one area / function of our government that has fallen apart? Before you answer, think about what has occurred under former Presidents. Government shutdown say you..has occurred several times under many different presidents. Surely you cannot bring up the economy? The stock market? Unemployment? Maybe you might throw out foreign relations? Israel has never been happier with the U.S. China is actually looking at curbing its abuses on currency manipulation, fair trade and IP infringement. North Korea says you. President Obama was quoted as saying ..again, quoted.. N. Korea will be the biggest issue the next President faces. Lil Rocket Man has been called out and is at least appearing to negotiate a safer Chinese peninsula. NATO? Those idiots are finally being to pay, at least a portion" of what they promised. In fact, the Germans said, what took you, meaning America, so long to bring this issue up? And finally, immigration. Yes, we are a nation of immigrants and will always be. He is the only President who has actually looked to enforce the law...the F-ing law! So gimme something, ANYTHING that would tell me he is doing a poor job. Trump in 2020!!

Try checking out the issue of climate changes- it’s going to rise up and bite us is the butt. Will cost taxpayers trillions when oceans rise up and swallow major cities like Miami. People like you and Trump not making any plans to try to curb the accelerations of change. Bottom line your children and grandchildren will be screwed and will hate you. Also he appoints cabinet members who protect pedophiles like Epstein,. But hey he appointed anti abortion judges right?? After they are born then it’s ok to abuse them?
Why I despise Trump and people like you. I bet you go to church and think you are really good. Hypocrites all of you!!! I equate people like you with the good Christians in Germany circa 1933.

Climate change? That's your issue? As if climate change occurred the minute President Trump was sworn in?? Really?? You are grasping my friend. Abortion? Roe v Wade will never be overturned..and rightly so! Yes, I do go to church on occasion and have a belief in a higher power. A belief in traditional values. I believe in tolerance. Let people live and let live. But...make people accountable for their actions. Financial decisions, moral decisions, and ethical decisions. You choose to acquire 100K in student loan debt? Your problem. You choose to marry the wrong person and doesn't work out? Your problem. You choose risky behavior..your problem. Very fair I think. As far as Tump is concerned, he is not a politician. Don't you get that? He is actually trying to get things moving forward.

Sounds like Al Gore telling us the Polar Caps would be melted by the year 2000. Life’s not fair because I’m a loser, so I’ll deflect to these nebulous issues made up by my ignorant heroes. Socialism, you bet! We should all make and have the same amount because I want to sit on my couch all day and do my wacky tobacky while you work to support me. Wait, what, now you are going to sit on your coach all day as there isn’t any reason to work hard, well then who is going to work?

Thought I'd reignite this thread and go into some detail on the picture.....

So the banquet and meeting invited business leaders from the UK and US with their respective governments...

Sooooo background.... this meeting with the UK government had lots of controversy but I'm gunna call out the one about the South Asian descent minister who wasn't invited... Sajid Javid MP (he's now the chanceller - in charge of the economy basically, but at the time he was the home secretary) It's one of the leading government positions but there was a big thing about him not getting invited https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48620951 . He's born british and his parents immigrated legally (just to help some of you guys who wanna make a point about that and his dad was a bus driver, dont worry he's as right wing as Margeret Thatcher our Saj!). They kept saying there wasn't a serious reason they didn't invite him but all anyone could say, was that is wasn't because he's brown. It's just his position was like the 3rd down from prime minister.... now as chancellor he's basically no. 2!

Now back to that picture, if you look at it and another angle photo. The last two guys at the end are two brown guys, don't worry not v.important people.... ahem maybe they are! Rajesh Kapoor (UK based CEO of Reckkits Benckiser - £12.6 Billion in revenue) and Vis Raghavan (US based JP Morgan company and CEO of JP Morgan Europe - $109 Billion in revenue).

So if you look that picture again....

    Google Image Result for https://www.in-cumbria.com/resources/images/9941724?type=responsive-gallery-fullscreen

and the one at a different angle..

    Google Image Result for https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2019/06/04/11/14347314-7102737-image-a-26_1559643259603.jpg

They stuck two people after emma and donnie.. and they basically put the two powerful brown guys as far as possible away from Donnie as possible....!!

Now Donnie always likes a pretty woman, given his locker room chat and .... oh and what was that he said about his daughter Ivanka years ago.... if she weren't his daughter he would bang her... ahem...

So suspect Emma got sat next to him because she looked better than the others and well... no one points out her dad has some connections... (for all those comments about her being a lefty it might come up as a surprise!) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Walmsley . He was an Admiral in the UK Navy and worked closely with the US!

    Re Ignite!

I just hope he makes GSK great again, because we suck!

GSK was never great. It was OK at best during the Advair growth years. It could have been great during those times but our (perennially) idiot management had 5 reps on that med per territory. Yes, FIVE. Colleagues for whom Advair was usually second or third tier would leave samples thus hindering the ability of the “product owners” getting a real message across with real dialogue. Been there.
“GSK” and “great” shouldn’t be used in the same sentence, unless referring to a cluster....

Was lucky enough to chose the package and leave GSK last year. It was an awful place to work filled with Trump lovers as I remember. During the election they were all extolling Trumps virtues. So glad to get out of there. Most of them were so called "Evangelicals" as well who wore their religion on their sleaves. Heretics--wondering if he grabbed Emma by the you know what!!!! Yep, that's religions value for you.
